Hong Kong Fire Relief Fundraising Concert Series
香港火災支援籌款音樂會
The Hong Kong Fire Relief Fundraising Concert Series is a two-part music project initiated and organised by pianist Jessica Wu, with the second concert co-organised by Jessica Wu and Andrew Campling.
Following a major fire incident in Hong Kong. Shaped as a moment of musical reflection, the series offers space to sit with sorrow and tenderness, and to find calm through shared listening.
Presented across two concerts on 13 December 2025 and 17 January 2026, the series centres on using classical repertoire of various instruments to create an intimate and reflective listening experience.
Concerts in the series:
First Concert — 13 December 2025 [View event details]
Second Concert — 17 January 2026 [View event details]
Across both concerts, the programming draws on well-loved classical repertoire of various instruments, chosen for its intimacy, lyricism, and ability to speak quietly yet directly.
The Hong Kong Fire Relief Fundraising Concert Series reflects Jessica Wu’s ongoing interest in curated musical experiences that explore emotion, inner life, and human vulnerability through sound. It forms part of her broader artistic direction, where performance becomes not only an act of presentation, but an invitation to listen — attentively, honestly, and together.
“While listening to the performance, the music gradually brought a sense of calm. It was the most peaceful moment I had experienced in weeks.” — Audience member, December concert
